Layered Stamping on a One Layer Card!

Happy Friday!
It's the weekend! Can I get a Woot Woot?

Layered stamping...have you tried it?
took images from a few of our stamp sets
and stamped them over each other to create a stunning wreath!

I love how it runs off the edge of the card. So so so pretty!
She didn't mask, just stamped.
Lots of pretty colors and images from our
Autumn Blessings stamp sets.
That awesome sentiment is from Be.
Any sentiment would work well here to make this a birthday card, encouragement card, or any occasion.

Be sure to visit Lydia's blog for design details (link at top of the post)
Then be sure to check out our new challenge!
Lydia's card works perfectly with the theme :)

I hope you find some time to get your ink on today :)

Hooray for Taheerah Atchia

Happy Thursday!

I have a super cool stamp set called Bravo
that is awesome for celebration cards.
Whether it's a graduation, promotion, new job, new car, or anything else worth celebrating,
this set has cool, bold sentiments for your celebrating delight!
got her ink on with it and this happened!

I really like how she stamped the Bravo sentiment in black to mirror the black background.
That cool jack bursting from behind her sentiment panel is from Exclamations.
It has a coordinating die too, just sayin' *wink*

The metallic embossing on black really looks cool and I think gives a masculine feel.
Simply changing the color scheme could make it great for any age, boy or girl.
Super versatile and one you'll reach for time and time again.

I hope you find some time to get your ink on today :)

Gold Embossed Flower Power Rocks!

Happy Wednesday!

Today's project from
is pure embossed gold!

Those flower filled letters from Flower Power
look amazing embossed in gold!
I love it paired with the sassy sentiment from Sassy Smiles.

The fun little elements from Fun-Fetti Fri-Dies
add a cool bit of whimsy.

Who wouldn't like to receive a card this pretty? It would surely brighten my day!
Be sure to visit Nora's blog to see which stamp set she used to add the "you" sentiment
and the techniques she used to create this card for a sweet friend of hers.
She just might have something for you there too :)
Have an awesome day :)

Let's Get Versatile! Creative Ways to Use Your CAS-ual Fridays Border Stamps and Tag Dies

Happy Monday!

I've got blog hop winners to announce and eye candy for your oohing and aahing delight!

I love it when my Ink Squad come up with creative ways to find versatility in my stamps and dies.
When I design them I have certain ideas of how they will be used.
The Girl Fridays are such a creative group, they are continually finding new ways to use my designs that I never even dreamed of.
I LOVE it when that happens!

has a colorful and cleverly created card for you!

She created her own hand stamped background by alternating border stamps from
Holly Jolly Borders? She used a Christmas stamp?
Yes! This set is actually very versatile as you'll see :)
I really like the cute black polka dot line border between the lines of flowers.
Its romantic but still modern.

Now let's talk about that cool Scallop Tag die cut she created.

She cut the tag once, then flipped the die cut around so that she could cut the top tag portion off and have the bottom scallop border on both sides.
Easy. Genius!
The pretty sentiment from Loving Thoughts fits perfectly on it
and works so well with this pretty card.

Thank you to everyone who hopped with us on the 17th.
Your comments touched our hearts and made me teary at times.
I've got winners to announce!

Calling All Sistahs Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop

Happy Friday!

Calling All Sistahs!
As promised, I'm here to remind you to do your self breast exam!

You matter.
Early detection is key.
Please share this message with all of your sistahs.
If we can catch it early, we can keep working together to take this disease DOWN!
Breast Cancer Awareness
needs to be part of our monthly regiment.
October is great for getting the idea of awareness out there but there are 11 other months in the year
and breast cancer does not own a calendar.
I found mine in August during a routine self exam.
It changed my life, but I have a lot of life left to live because I caught it early.
That is my sincere hope for all of you!

Please do your self exams.
If you are past due on your mammogram, please schedule it today.
I don't want you to have it,
but if you do,
I want you to find it so you can crush it!

I'm joined today by sistahs from across the globe.
They are all just like you and me...awesome women who care :)
Some of us are survivors, some of us have survivors in our lives, and some of us have lost sistahs.
All of us want to spread the word about awareness and the importance of taking care of yourself.
I hope that you will be inspired by their projects,
strengthened by their messages,
empowered by our sistahood.

Before we start the hop,
I have a couple of winners to announce from last month!
I left for CHA the day after the hop last month and then was so distracted by all the hugging and eye candy, I completely forgot about our winners post! My bad!
From Melissa's blog:

Love Notes and Valentine's Day Posies

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today I'm sharing a card from
from the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!

Our theme is Pink, Red and White.
Look what she came up with!

She stamped the images from Pretty Posies in red ink on pink cardstock.
I LOVE the way that looks!
Next she stamped the same images with black ink on white cardstock.
She colored only the flowers with alcohol markers and I think the black and white leaves are perfection!

She cut them out with our Posies Fri-Dies and look how awesome they look stacked over each other

The sweet little sentiment is from Love Notes,
and it's perfect for today,
but simply swap it for a birthday or feel better or thinking of you sentiment
and this is a card you could make all year long!

I'd love for you to get inspired by these awesome colors and come play in our challenge!

Wow, the weekend went by waaaay too fast for my liking, how about you?
I'm still getting caught up from the laundry, blech!

I've got a happy, sunny card to start the week from

She used a couple of awesome stamps and a cool die set from our Floral collection:

She stamped the images in Memento ink and then used copics to color them in.

And now, I must finish that laundry!

Embossed Vellum

Happy Saturday!

We've had gorgeous sunny weather the last couple days here in Denver.
It was in the high 70's yesterday! LOVE!
It won't last and in fact, there is a chance of snow later tonight and into Sunday.
Crazy but that's how the weather rolls in Denver.
The joke is that if you don't like the weather, wait an hour.
The bummer is when you love the weather and want to keep it! LOL!

has a vibrant and fun card today using one of our newest stamp sets...

She stamped that big fabulous sentiment from Dream Then Do on vellum
and embossed it in white.
I love the neon green embossed Daisy Chain on black cardstock!
So dramatic and cool!

Here's a closeup so you can see that cool sentiment on vellum over pattern paper.
Awesome!!

Have a great weekend!

Heart Filled with Flowers

Happy Thursday!!

I've got a really fun one layer card for you today

She used our brand new Full On Floral and Heartfelt Sayings stamps to create this...

Here's what Lisa said about her design process...
To create this one layer card I started by covering my cardbase with a negative heart mask.
I then used the Full on Floral set to stamp over the open heart area.
I used a gradient ink pad for interest.
I removed the mask and stamped my sentiment at an angle from the Heartfelt Sayings Set.
The card still felt a little plain so added some score lines along the top of the card and some distress ink around the edges.
I finished the card off with clear rhinestones, gold metallic pen, and pink sharpie.

***Full On Floral is currently sold out and will be back in stock in about 3 weeks.***
It is in stock at Simon Says Stamp while supplies last there :)
